Adopt-a-Beach™
The Alliance for the Great Lakes' Adopt-A-Beach™ program is a fun and easy way to help keep the Great Lakes healthy.
As an adopter, you commit to multiple visits during a year, and at each visit you complete two forms: the Routine Visit Form (which asks questions about specific conditions at your beach) and the Litter Monitoring Form (where on which you track the amount and types of litter you find during the litter cleanup portion of the visit). Once you’re done with the beach visit and have completed your water test, you report findings to the Alliance by using our online data entry system and return any sign up sheets/waiver-liability sheets to us.
